The company was growing so rapidly that in 1967 a new warehouse was built at 323 W. 17th Street. In 1979, Ev Fahr passed away and the future of the company was now in the hands of his son, Bob Fahr, who is now the President of Fahr Beverage, Inc. With continued growth Fahr Beverage moved to it's current location at 1369 Martin Road in 1981. At this time the company employed fifteen individuals. Six years later, Fahr Beverage merged with Klawitter Distributing Company, which Ev and Helen's daughter, Marlene Klawitter and her husband Dick owned. In 1998 Fahr Beverage completed an expansion that doubled its facility. Fahr Beverage has completed yet another expansion of 20,000 sq ft of office and cooler space. Today the company employs over sixty full time individuals. There have been many changes over the years, but a lot of familiar faces with the company's lifetime. Fahr Beverage, Inc. wants to thank the Cedar Valley, the surrounding communities, team members, business partners and customers for making us successful the last fifty years.
