
A great crowd at the Innaugural "Beers to You" event!
23 area restaurants provided large portion samples and over 40 beers to sample
from Fahr Beverage, Inc. and it was definitely worth the price of admission!

An afternoon of gourmet food, sampling beer and conversing with friends!

Classic Kitchen & Bath designed this Omega kitchen for us to cook on for the
live cooking demonstration. Everyone in the audience had a chance to sample
the items we cooked and the beers that were paired with each. Executive Chef
Jim Nadeau and Sous Chef Steve Charlton of Sunnyside Country Club
entertained the crowd with their wit, while their staff at Sunnyside Country Club
served the crowd. The large screen above allowed the audience to view the
counter and stove top.

Tara Sagers, Beer Gourmet at Fahr Beverage, Inc. and Tasting Coordinator of
this event prepares the Oatmeal Stout Peach Crunch over Ice Cream, while the
chefs in the background watch with anticipation.

Prior to the cooking demonstrations, John Hall, President and Founder of Goose
Island Beer Company talked about how he started the brewery and then after
each cooking demonstration he took questions and also talked about the beers
that were sampled and cooked with on stage.

Here is John Hall speaking with some of the audience after the show, while
people had a chance to check out the great kitchen and meet with the chef's
and the Beer Gourmet.

Executive Chef Jim Nadeau of Sunnyside Country Club created an ice sculpture
of the Goose Island Beer Company logo and made a beer luge for guest to sample
the Goose Island Kilgubblin from paired with their Carved Baron of Beef on
petite rolls.
